A muscle is a muscle, whether it's in a human or in a horse, and when a muscle gets sore, it aches. Why not massage these hard-working muscles on a four-legged creature, just as you would on a two legged one?

Horses are like people. They need range of motion, flexibility and peace of mind in order to train and perform successfully. Sometimes tight spots develop in muscles, hindering your horse's performance and causing discomfort. Through massage, we allow oxygen and blood flow to return to these areas, relieving the stress and returning soundness to the equine athlete.

The therapeutic application of hands-on massage techniques increases circulation, relaxes muscle cramps and spasms, relieves tension, enhances muscle tone and increases range of motion in high performance horses, as well as the backyard equine companion.

SIXTY PERCENT of your horse's total body weight is skeletal muscle, which will greatly benefit from the non-invasive, holistic technique known as equine sports massage therapy. It can improve your equine athlete's performance by relieving tension and muscle spasms, and increasing circulation and range of motion. This therapy is geared to the prevention and cure of muscle spasms, tension and strains that can lead to problems such as shortening of stride, stiffness, lameness, and even injury.
